How to operation
1. Preparation:
Ensure the machine is placed on a stable, clean surface.
Connect the power supply and air compressor (if required).
Check and install the appropriate ultrasonic horn (sonotrode) based on the component design.
2. Material Placement:
Position the PC plastic parts in the welding fixture correctly.
Ensure alignment to avoid welding defects.
Secure the parts in place to prevent movement during welding.
3. Machine Setup:
Set the welding parameters:
Welding Time – Duration of ultrasonic application.
Amplitude & Pressure – Adjust for material thickness and joint strength.
Energy Mode or Time Mode – Choose based on production needs.
Perform a test run with scrap material to verify the settings.
4. Welding Process:
Press the start button or activate the foot pedal.
The ultrasonic horn applies high-frequency vibrations, generating heat and melting the plastic at the joint.
The welded part cools and solidifies, forming a strong bond.
5. Inspection & Quality Control:
Check the welded joint for uniformity and strength.
Perform leakage or strength testing if necessary.
Adjust settings if defects like weak bonds or misalignment occur.
6. Cleaning & Maintenance:
Turn off the machine after use.
Clean the ultrasonic horn and fixture regularly.
Inspect components for wear and replace them if needed.
Store in a dry, dust-free environment to prolong lifespan.
