Ultrasonic hand-held spot welder actually belongs to the category of ultrasonic welding. It produces high-frequency vibration through ultrasonic wave to weld metal or plastic together. There is no possibility that the ultrasonic processing is more suitable for the actual assembly contour of the parts, or there is no possibility that the needle welding is more suitable for the actual assembly conditions.

Spot welding can be carried out on soft plastic sheets such as ABS, polyethylene, polypropylene and PVC. Specially designed projection head is used to enhance welding strength and appearance. Ultrasonic spot welding replaces adhesives, rivets, staples and other mechanical fasteners. This process is used to assemble Trailer bodies, automotive defroster pipes, furniture and other large thermoplastic parts. Using portable hand-held tools and multi head automation system, many welding can be performed at the same time.
